AOC CU34G2X vs Acer Predator Z35P

Hi. I've been thinking about picking up the AOC as it seems like a good deal for around £450. A friend has just offered me his Acer Predator Z35P second hand for £400 and I was wondering what people would recommend. I'm running a 1660 super currently until the GPU market settles down but will probably look at a 3060 when (please!!!!) it does.

Normally I'd go for new (the AOC) so that I have the warranty etc but the Z35p is g-sync compatible and the AOC makes me nervous on that front!! Seems to have pretty common flickering issues.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
