One of the worst 'F2P' models in the genre for a game which is at best average and now has very little developer support (Funcom have had to release the bulk of their staff so there's no one left to actually develop the game).

It's more like a free trial than F2P as the second you hit 80 you are instantly at a huge disadvantage without paying. More so than most other free MMO's.

just actually installed this. Played it it for an hour......wasn't feeling it. It has just been deleted.

Can anyone recommend the closest thing to pre-cu SWG or will that never exist again?

Yeah avoid it, I gave it a weekend when it first went ftp and I want that weekend back. could have been a great game but so much was implemented by chimps.

Played it for about 6months back when it was released and dipped back into it recently. It ain't what it used to be and as above - The F2P model is terrible.

Suggest you look at Tera for a f2p mmo. Really nice combat and gfx in that game.

Ah you cant call it the worse mmo ever! I played this for around 2 years and can honestly say the story really captured my imagination!

I do agree tho that 80+ is pointless without paying.
