Good decision for my specs? Seems an absolute bargain; then again I have no real clue as to what makes a good monitor (even after reading the guide posted on here).

Just be wary that b grade monitors may not be perfect and missing cables/bits etc. Some might have dead pixels or some other slight issue that still comes within the allowable quota.
Another recent post about a b grade monitor when it was delivered to the buyer came without a stand so be careful. Personally what with my experience with monitors I would never buy b grade ones.
If I were you I would post in the customer services forum and ask them to check the monitor for you and list any defects if poss.
Just a bit of friendly advice when something seems to be too good.
