AOC G2460PG G-Sync monitor help!

Hi there,

Got myself this sweet bit not long ago mainly for my PC.
I attempted to connect my Xbone the other day and this wouldn't work.
I've bought a couple of cables so far which none have worked so far.
Would anyone by any chance have an idea what the solution would be?
I might be answering my own question here but are there different kinds of adapters available on the market? I just done some research and it seems that I require an ACTIVE not a PASSIVE adapter. Would that be the case here?

Passive DP to HDMI adaptors are uni-directional and are for connecting a DP output to an HDMI input. You require it the other way around - hence an active adaptor would be required.

That makes sense and would explain why I couldn't get it to work.
A lot of swearing for nothing!

Hi there sorry to revive this but I bought an Active adapter and it still didn't work. any ideas? I've attempted to contact AOC but they have not responded as of yet.

Which adaptor, specifically? They are quite hit or miss it seems. Also be aware that the G2460PG does not have a scaler, so unless it is receiving a Full HD signal it will not display an image. That could also be an issue with the Xbox One.
