AOC Q3279VWF 31.5-Inch HDMI DVI Monitor resolution problem

hi
can anybody help cant seem to set my resolution the text is blurry and icons not right with my new monitor. resolution is set at 2560 x 1440 my spec is below iam connecting via dvi port.

• Graphics Card: AMD Radeon R9 270X 2GB

• Wi-Fi: Wireless 802.11N 300Mbps MIMO PCI-E Card

• Case: Zalman Z11

• PSU: Corsair VS 550W

DVI should support up to 2560x1600 so that should be ok. Is 2560 x 1440 your monitors native resolution. You didn't mention what monitor you have.

Are you using a hdmi/dvi adaptor? Can you try connecting directly wit ha cable?

thanks for the replys ive sorted it now, only problem i have now is when i open a folder a big green number 1 appears on screen and changes the folder to full screen?

Solved it, for anyone coming here from a google search: the native resolution was fixed with a better (brand new) DVI cable. So maybe try a new cable?
