Just wondering if there's many opinions here from owners of this screen? From what I know most of the 4k monitors currently use the same panel, this one seems to have a better stand than the samsung, swivel rotate etc and its cheaper. Though there doesn't seem to be many owners of this screen on here?

I have one.

Can't really recommend it sadly, build quality, features, etc. is decent, colour quality and sharpness for a TN is really good however there seems to be some issues with the internal power saving system that can't be fully fixed (turning the monitor volume to 0 helps a bit) which causes random flickering and occasionally for the whole panel to timeout and disappear from the OS til you reboot (haven't actually had it happen for awhile). Its struggles with fast white to black pixel transitions, has fairly high input lag (seems to be some issue with the scaler) and overdrive artefacts are up there with some of the worst I've seen.

It has its uses as a general desktop monitor but I couldn't do anything other than slower/casual gaming on it much personally.

Most of the issues could probably be fixed with a firmware update but that almost never happens with monitors.

I updated my post with my experience of it, had to put some thought into it as I've very mixed feelings about it - in some ways its utterly brilliant but too many small issues let it down, most people with experience of both seem to have found the samsung the better of the two.

EDIT: Stand was what pushed me towards it but in the long run it'll be put aside for the swift or another 2560x 120+hz panel.

EDIT2: Just seen 2 people's tests with 58 and 61ms input lag when using DP knew it was bad but didn't feel quite that high.

Hmm just caught up on the reviews on this panel this one is fairly close to my experience http://www.digitalversus.com/lcd-monitor/aoc-u2868pqu-p20684/test.html though aside from black levels the colour accuracy on mine even out the box is considerably better than what he is seeing.

I dunno what panel those early reviewers stating non-existent input lag were testing but they really shouldn't be reviewing monitors if they can't notice 50+ms input latency.
