Hi all,

I work directly for AOC in the UK managing the distribution and reseller channels.

I am here to help if I can and if I can't, I know a man that can :D

I will post some other product related threads and answer questions I find on the forum and those posted directly to me.

As you can see, I am not here to hide and push AOC to you from a dark corner :D

Hope I can help you in your quest for answer and perhaps your next choice of monitor.

PS. Just got the Q3 market share figures and we are 4th this year :D 1st and 2nd is all bundle business from HP and Dell, so that makes us 2nd :D:D...I am guessing AOC or as some like to call it "noc" :p is a brand you have been hearing more and more about over the past 2 years, that is because we provide quality products at very attractive price points and with our parent company producing 1/3 of all monitors used worldwide, many rely on our quality of goods for their brand and with our 3 year on site warranty there is no risk involved in choosing AOC as your next brand of choice.....I typed it so I am not deleting it, hope you didn't choke or close the page before getting to this point ;)

AOC UK, please drop me an email (email in signature) and i will put you in touch with someone at OcUK who will speak to you about being a vendor rep here

All i can say is, make a 4k monitor and release it ad under 1k !

Watch this space, I see 4K on the roadmap, based on the £3.5K I see in the market i cannot imagine it being below £1K but as AOC are releasing 4K you never know :p , I reckon £1.5K would be good but I don't know the costs involved so we will both wait in anticipation ;)

Make higher res than 2560x1440 in 24" under £1k and I'll buy 3.

How about 27" under £500 :D Might be available before Xmas but it will be very tight as I am looking at 2nd/3rd week December landing in the UK

All the outputs, DP, HDMI, DVI, VGA, USB ports and height Adjust :D

Keep your eye out for Q2770PQU which will be available here at Overclockers

Welcome to the forums.

Have you anything like the Eizo FG2421 in the pipeline? That's a 240hz VA monitor.

Currently I have a Samsung SA700D, would love to change to something with a less glossy screen, better picture quality and running at least 120hz.

You're Gibbo approved, that's enough. I liked the BP6, cheaped out on later boards though.

That's not higher than 2560x1440 though.

How about a 1440p 120hz IPS? ;)

unfortunately at this time, this is technically impossible, unless someone comes up with some sort of over clocking chip for IPS they will always be the slowest response panels, so would be pointless making 120Hz 6ms :-(

thank you melmac

Nothing in the pipeline at this time, i am looking into the benefits or if simply marketing and and waiting a reply from HQ......in my humble opinion you can see the difference between 60hz and 120/144hz and with the right content the difference between 6ms and 1ms.......but can the human eye really detect anything faster than 120/144Hz? would be interested to hear thoughts on this.

on a positive note, you will not find glossy panel in our range, a few glossy frames but no glare from our screens :-)

We recently launched our 144Hz gaming monitor which is being received well however I understand you are looking to make the next leap so trying something similar that may outperform your current set up and provide excellent value is possibly not what you are looking for at the moment.

G2460PQU....it seems we do not promote the fact it is 3D Vision 2 which means lightboost support!

think we are missing a trick here!

There's absolutely no promo material with it saying it's 3D Vision 2 ... @ £249 if it is really 3D vision 2, then it's way below the price of any other competitor!

Hi, I just pulled from the web, at the same time i have emailed HQ and await their response...google search aoc lightboost... blurbuster link, they have posted that a review company said it is but it is not on their list on another link, so my apologies for the response as may not be the case but i hope to get back to you soon with confirmation one way or the other
