AOL used to meet my requirements but now after just spending 1.5hrs on the phone to find out I have gone over my FUP has made me decide to go find a new isp.

ADSL24 sounds good and ive heard they have a good customer support team.

I need...

1) A good ping
2) Average FUP (30gb Peak/300 Off Peak)
3) Good customer support
4) Pref under £20 a month (will pay more if the isp is worth i)

Anyone have anything bad to say about them or reccomend a better isp.

I tried BE and O2 but not available in my area.

because of the huge off peak allowance, speeds do fluctuate a bit on the weekends (and sometimes after 10pm weekdays) but you'd never notice unless you're monitoring them. browsing/pings/streaming media is always top notch 24/7.

I must admit im very tempted by one of theses enta resellers. I have had zen for years, 5 static ip's & very very happy but this month I have really battered it, 50% of my 50gb allowance used by the 3rd of the month.
I have had to be so careful & im down to 2.9gb to last me till thursday midnight, i know its not going to happen :(

go for it. with one month minimum contract, you've nothing to lose. and you can order 8 static ips for no extra charge when you sign up. :)

9 months with ADSL24 - great stuff - no hassles - speeds for me have always been max any time/day.

No probs - limits are generous as well. Gone from downloading 10/20gb a month to now 200gb a month!!!

Go with ADSL24 - excellent and won't be regreted.

Iam with adsl24 however i would probably go for titan as they have more web hosting space and have noticed they are getting great reviews.
On titans site they have up to 24mbs coming soon.

Right phoned AOL to cancel my contract and then was told i'm still in contract :(

I was shocked to hear this as it was only a few weeks a go i was told i wasn't under contract, there for complained that i didn't chnage anything but he didn't care and told me to put my complaint in writing.

So on the of chance i rang back to speak to someone different, good job i did too.

No you're not in contract the guy said. I threatened to leave months ago and they dropped my price to £9.99 but said i don't have to sign a new contract so put a note saying I'm still not in contract.

So now just waiting for my MAC to arrive.

:)

Here is a link which shows enta resellers taking the majority of the top 10 places. http://www.ispreview.co.uk/ in order from the top TitanADSL - aquiss - ADSL24 - ukfsN

Surely that can't be right Entanet only having around 80,000 customers when you consider that they cover ADSL24, UKFSN, Titan, etc

Yes. Think about it, all the other companies have ads plastered all over the place. Enta basically has word of mouth.

i ordered those as well but have never been able to use them :(
when i was with eclipse all i had to do was set the ip in the router to one of 4(i think it was)different ip`s and away to go
with UKFSN i have tried this and LOADS of other methods and never yet been able to get a connection with anything bar dynamically assigned*and yes i have mailed jason on a few occasions to verify that i have been assigned the 8 ip`s)
but sying that the service i get is topnotch:)
