Hello,

I have a client who has AOL. His computer was running so slow! and had some many problems we both decided a reinstall of windows xp would be the best way to go, We tried a Ram upgrade a full system clean up and a few other things yet it still ran slow and locked up all the time.

What i have done for now is let him use my 500gb test drive with windows installed on. I have transfered all his data across that he needs and reinstalled his AOL which has his emails on there apart from his saved old emails.

I can access his hard drive to get any files off still but i cant seem to find his old AOL stored emails. If i want to i can boot of his old drive to look if needed but i dont know where to start because i never use aol myself.

Any ideas where i could find his saved emails so i can import them back in to AOL for him?

Thanks
Dave

they are stored in a "Personal Filing Cabinate" file somewhere. That's all I can remember from when I used the AOL software many many years ago. I still use my AOL address but don;t use that software anymore as it's awful. Do a search for AOL PFC and i'm sure you'll find many instructions
