Hi,
I had a friends mum bring her computer to me the other day as it was playin up,
I/we come to the conclusion that the hard drive has had it(unbootable and missing files), so she went and brought a new en.
ive reinstalled XP on it and all the drivers fine.
Now she's on AOL broadband so i installed the AOL software, but she's forgot her login password for her account. I know i could phone then up and ask for her password, but no doubt before they'll give out any information to me/her they'll require an account password.
So to try and save time on the phone, what ive done is manage to get her old hard drive as a slave in my computer and i can browse the hdd no problem.
The big question is;
Would it be possable to find her login details on the old hard drive in some kind of config file in the AOL folder ??
thanks
