aol, throttling ?

aol has been slow all week since i downloaded 2gb of file on encrypted bit torrent.

i simply cant get over 40kb/s, im downloading something on http at 35.6kb/s now and my http traffic is sooooooooo slow it took me 5 mins to load this page.

wireless is turned off so its no connection leakers, and theres no bit torrent clients, or msn, or anything else running. nor is there any spyware.

is this aols new fup policy kicking in ?

im on 1mb and normally see 114kb/s max.

Yes afraid so, and 2gb's nothing, but thats AOL they can say any amount is excessive as they don't have a specific limit specified, can move the goal-posts at will.

i have 8 months of my sentence left before i can be released from the ISP "prison" that AOL have become.

i have nearly a whole year. but i think we are moving to a virgin media enabled area soon
