AOL

Any way to connect to AOL with out using their browser using a dsl modem not a router.

There was when I used AOL, try this:

Control Panel
Network Connections
Create a New Connection
Connect to the Internet
Set up my connection manually
Connect using a broadband connection that requires a username and password

Set it up from there with the username as [email protected] and your password.
