So i've had my aorus for awhile and I completely love it.
However lately I've found nvidia and windows showing this displays support res is 4k, It's meant to be a 1440p panel?
I've made sure DSR is off and disabled which it is and 4k still shows up, What's worse is some games will consider this the best res and switch games to 4k which it will happily do. Even my display will pop up with its overlay saying its "4k res"
So are these aorus panels 4k but downscaled to 1440p? Why am I seeing 4k settings and why does my display support 4k? I want to disable it but I can't
