Does anyone know if the 3080 Aorus Master/Extreme have officially released yet? I asked this on the website and someone told me they came out on the 17th but I never saw them as available on launch for sale or preorder and can't find anything else suggesting they were a launch card.

I know there's big delays and all that, but are they even officially out right now or are these a later mid Oct launch?

They weren't available at launch just pre orders unfortunately. The Master card went live in the US on the 2nd October but i haven't seen any in the UK yet.

I have a 3080 Xtreme on order but unsure as to when ill receive it to be honest. I think @GIGA-Man said in the last Aorus thread that has now been closed for some reason they will start shipping in 4 weeks (this was around 7-10 days ago) It would be good to get an update as to when OCUK will receive their first shipment , maybe @Gibbo could provide a rough time frame?

Some sort of date would be nice. I don't know when pre-ordering something without knowing a launch date became a thing, but its definitely not something I'm used too. I'm watching another competitor site who isn't pre-ordering for it at all (but does now have a placeholder listing for it) in hope of getting in on that early and then at least I'll know when I'll know when they've entered the UK too.

trying to work out how much cards would fit in a standard pallet... and since the card is thicker then most, bigger boxes :(

Don't think that'll matter honestly. Think it's all down to quantity available and silicone from nvidia. Don't think any particular retailer will get a full pallet of one specific card anytime soon

I'm low enough in the queue that I don't want to cancel, but not so low that I expect one soon (129 for an Eagle) :(

Yeah that's kinda how I feel at around 160 tbh. It's low enough that when it ramps up and they get a few deliveries with 50+ on it'll go quick enough. (one can hope anyway). Would be nice to see it by end of the month.

Anyone for a queue update? I know we can work it out ourselves right now, but they did say update when they ships cards.

Quote "we will send an update after each shipment with your new position".

Realistically, do we think at least 100 master cards will be fulfilled before the end of October, or is that expectation too high?

I honestly don't think anyone has the answer to that. Not even OC or any other retailer.

It's been wildly acknowledged in plenty of places that manufacturing ramps up from Oct, by mid Oct should see considerably bigger volumes worldwide. The question is what's considered bigger? 100% more cards sounds great but if they are only getting 13 now and that turns to 26...well....thats OK if you're low in the queue but its all relative to your queue number.

I'm 151 as of right now. I'm hopefully by end of Oct or week 1 of Nov I may see my card or at the very least be a stones throw away shortly after. Anything in the early hundreds isn't particularly a big number when you're looking at the volumes pumped out by manufacturers, even if they are shared worldwide.

You also don't know how much leverage or contacts a company has. Look at the UK compared to other countries and quite frankly I think we have a **** poor selection of retail outlets (that my opinion based on other countries I've been too like US/Germany etc). So maybe OC does get the lions share of stock and maybe if they've also cleared a queue entirely they get that extra amount which in turns looks good on gigabyte (or other manufacturers) when their customers aren't blowing up their twitter etc asking when are they gonna supply more stock etc.

So mine arrived today and I've got it installed - performance is mind-blowing even compared to the 1080ti I had. Temps are very good, not seen it go above 61c. Only gripe so far is that their RGB software is trash and I can't get it working to customize the RGB or LCD.

(Sorry for poor quality the dusty side window is on)

I don't know if anyone else knows about issues, but this is the first one I've seen with an issue. Sure it's not a conflict with another RGB program? I know I have to turn of nzxt and icue for example to get asrock's pos software to work on my taichi.

Failing that possible defect?

Since people are throwing out a few different numbers, thought I'd confirm for anyone who turns up here/might have missed it, that the highest difference anyone saw in queue jump was 18.

I personally saw a 17 jump, but someone above saw an 18.

Assuming people cancelled when they got the queue numbers in between the queue update emails.

Appreciate the people doing vids of their card but I wonder when reviewers like GN/Jay/Bitwit/Paul/etc etc are gonna get hold of these cards and do their thing. Wouldn't mind seeing some properly controlled benchmarks and O/C

noot mine but love the look

@fx1 Strix TOP not OC has highest bins. Vender gets dies from NVidia then they are tested to see max speeds, then from there split for stability and you get your variations for OC/non OC/ Meltiing PC versions .

Its when you get the HOF or Kingpin thats double the prices- they get the real binning process

What I don't get is why manufacturers always insist on putting stuff where they know the cables will run. I have my cables going up on my 2080 right now for the same reason, but I'd prefer down as its generally easier to get them too look nicer.

Blows my mind why they don't make that direct area above or below a clear zone for RGB etc.
