I need a computer soon because the one I had has died on me, I really like this mobo but I've read there's problems with the internal front usb-c connector not working .

Have any of you who have this mobo got problems? What's your experiences of it??

Any input would be much appreciated.

:):)

Yep. I've got two different brackets and neither work when connected to the motherboard header. I don't use it really as I have usb-c on my monitor so I'm not too bothered. I wouldn't get the Elite if it's a feature that you really need.

Edit: It's a great board otherwise though.

ok. Thanks for that mate.

I'm on my second board now. First one came and every single USB port died after its first reboot.

Sent that one back and bought another- zero issues with the new one.

I have the Gigabyte Aorus Elite and I have connected the USB C cable to my 011 Dynamic XL's front USB port. I don't have any USB C devices but I have tested a USB 3.0 device pluged into a USB type-A to USB C adaptor (the cable is certified 5Gb/s, not USB 3.1 gen 2's 10Gb/s standard unfortunately) but unable to fully test the speed due to the Sandisk Ultra only doing 150MB/s read tops.
