Am I imagining things or are the prices on these top-tier 1080ti cards going up around £30 each month? This is £60 more than the similarly clocked ZOtac was a month ago (not that you could get your hands on one, but still...)

Supply and demand, once stock is free flowing the prices will drop, right now the prices are a premium due to limited supply.
 
A great card for VR and those that can afford it.

NVidia isn't helping perception much considering the rumours (confirmed, idk?) of Volta coming out this year... I get that redundancy is a thing, but at the rate of the supply for the top-end 1080ti's, we'll likely be seeing hard-and-fast news on Volta for 2017 before the stock on these OC'd 1080tis are "free flowing". That's gotta be tricky to balance. Not that I'm considering holding on, that deal you got with the Seasonic PSU and ZOtac AE is very tempting... but still... it seems like the RRP of all the 1080tis will be adjusted downwards to make room for the new Volta...
