6th in queue for 3080 Aorus Xtreme, shipping notification received @ 14:03 - 06/01/21
Watch a jays two cents video on YouTube and this will hopefully give you all the info you need .Anyone attempted to OC the 3080 master? I've never OC'd a GPU before so wouldn't know where to begin, but would be good to know if it's even worth considering. From what i have seen in terms of comments on this it may not be worthwhile on the master due to the power limit (370w), which annoyingly for us early adopters should be resolved when Gigabyte release the next rev with a 3x8pin connector.
Specific to the 3080 master or just generic 3080 OC?Watch a jays two cents video on YouTube and this will hopefully give you all the info you need .
Just watch some of his graphics card over clocking videos for the 30 series they all pretty much overclock the same.Specific to the 3080 master or just generic 3080 OC?
anyone had an update re progress?
not had an email for over 10days now, unless OC were all on Holiday.
No email here either. Was really expecting one after no email last week.
I flashed my Aorus Xtreme 3090 today with the 500W EVGA FTW3 XOC bios.
I can confirm that the card is now able to draw 500W power, checked using HWInfo64 after running Furmark.
All three fans are working fine and my custom fan profile set in Afterburner also works.
Afterburner slider now goes up to 119%, previously 107%. This makes sense to me since at 100% this card draws a max of 420W and at 107% was drawing up to 450W.
I've only played a few hours of Cyberpunk, the temps are hitting 67C max and the core clock is flatlining at 2070Mhz. Previously I was seeing fluctuations between 1980Mhz and 2025Mhz for the same game.
I'm only using one HDMI 2.1 port connected to my LG CX. Will need to check the remaining HDMI and DPs. I'm guessing one of the HDMI ports will no longer function.
The built in screen still shows the standard egg animation, however I never installed RGB fusion so cannot confirm if the LCD can be modified with the software after flashing. If anyone's interested I can try and let you know...
Hope you find this info useful and those still waiting for cards receive them soon.
