Nah, I think he didn't flash new bios of the Xtreme which open limit power to 450 W, I didn't see he mentioned about that so I think so. If you unlock power limit, Overlock potential will be interesting

what i'm wanting to see is MS Direct Storage/RTX IO with Zen 3 and PCIe 4.0 drive.

See if Nvidia or AMD comes tops with the implementation . All AMD shoould be faster then PS5 in Ideal implementation

least 6800XT Master is coming . Got a feeling look more like RTX 3070 version then 3080/90

Last gen product RX 5700XT , AIB product released after Reference one few months, you will wait longer when you choose Master or Xtreme variant, exactly the same as RTX 3080 variant.

I know, but the answer to his tweet came from Aorus Uk with the same information, that it is a very limited amount to be split between sellers

yep, everyone gives stick to nvidia but actually AMD is the worst for selling Reference boards for the longest period, good few month on last 3 generations . more money for them .
Have a feeling chip will still run hot and AIB designs should push nicely past reference
 
It does not look great...I think I am getting a 3070 while I wait for the 3090, at least it has a decent amount of CUDA cores, so it is good for work, and it will be possible to pair it with my current cards. Then I will keep it for the second screen.

Well, with the announce of the Xtreme Waterforce, I guess the shipments of each model will decrease, or maybe Samsung is doing magic and replicating the chips.
 
Hi @GIGA-Man. Is there any info on planned compatible waterblock for xtreme 3090? Will the waterforce card have 3 power inputs like the xtreme or only 2? Thank you for any info - wondering whether to go strix or xtreme or wait for waterforce.
