Purchased the x7 v2 CF2 a couple days back and overall, very impressed with the power and speed of the machine. I've noticed however, and am slightly concerned about the touch pad and the condition of the screen. The touch pad won't respond properly and the right hand side and won't respond at all at the bottom right hand side. Tried reinstalling drivers and nothing.

I also noticed that the frame of the screen isn't properly attached the screen and the gap is getting bigger on both sides which is causing a but of flex.

Turning on SLI for the gtx 860m seems to mess up the resolution on some programs but not too worried about this.

The Overclockers team have been very helpful and responsive through these problems and I'm hoping to get a replacement for this machine tomorrow. Other than this, the laptop is powerful and I would certainly recommend it. Hopefully mine left the factory in poor condition and not all the CF2 versions of the x7 are like this.

Hi Saado,

I think we spoke with OcUK about this unit earlier in the week. Sorry to see you have an issue, but glad its being handled in the right way.

Hello Saado,

As I have spoken to you in the customer service forums I am glad to be of assistance in sorting out the issue with the Laptop itself.

Regards

Bailey

Saado, has the problems been resolved? was looking at the Aorus's but i keep seeing problems?

Hi Kardam83,

Not speaking on behalf of Saado, but I am confident his unit did have a fault with the track-pad and has been exchanged for brand new laptop.

This was checked over in-store by Saado, and he left happy with the new one.

To give you assurance our current figures show less than 2% return / fault rate with any of the AORUS laptops.

Hope this helps alleviate any concerns, but obviously I can only tell you the facts for overall situation, not specifically Saado's experience.
