I have an Aorus Z370 Gaming 5 motherboard and Intel 8700K MOBO. I had used the following guides to successfuly overclock the processor to 5Ghz:

I recently (and maybe stupidly) upgraded the BIOS from version F7 to version F13.
All of the settings within the BIOS look the same, however with the same settings I can no longer achieve 5Ghz. Even upping the voltage from 1.3 which I was using to 1.35 it still isnt possible.
The MOBO does have a setting which allows some form of auto-overclock and it can achieve 5Ghz, however watching CPUID I see the volts jump as high as 1.45 which scares me a bit.
Has anybody experienced anything similar and can offer any suggestions?
Also if I wanted to be lazy, is it likely to be safe to leave it set to the auto overclock at 5Ghz with the occassional spike to 1.45, the computer is only on for a few hours at night and the game I play doesnt max the CPU out and temps dont seem to go over 80 at most.
Thanks
