I've been using AWStats ( http://awstats.sourceforge.net/ ) over a couple webservers with a few hundred domains for a some years now, no problems and I like the stats it gives.
Visitors is quite nice, too. It's more minimalistic but it does some things AWstats doesn't do ( http://www.hping.org/visitors/ )

They are both good, I've got AWstats. However I'm looking for something that will tell me if a certain IP likes to visit my site in spikes (over the course of a few minutes) I believe a competitor is clicking my google ads! Damm them.
