Apache - Tomcat help

Does anyone here have any experience in using the above combo?
As i need to run two instances of the same Application (with a few minor differences) on the same server.
I dont really want to have two instances of Tomcat running on the server, though if its easier to setup i will.

Ive got a single application/service thats going to be compiled with 2 different configurations (Via Ant) though essentially they are the same. i.e the .war files that are compiled have the same name.
Now i simply changed the name of one of the war files and tomcat deployed them seperatly, both can be called by there different names and seems to be working as i want.

Now what im worried about is this seemed far to easy and simple! :confused:
