Which is better, Apache or Gentle Typhoon 120mm? reason i choose these two is for colour scheme. shame noctua don't do black.

One simple question, but i doubt it has a simple answer (never does). Im going to use them as an exhaust on the top of my 600T and may make a custom mount to fit a pair in the front as well, as my 200m fans are disgustingly loud due to some weird air pressure formation at the grill...

So which wins?

Edit: I may also be using them on an H100 if i am lucky enough to get one on the big day.

ok heres one for you just swapped typhoons for apache on my antec 920

antecs on full blast were a joke
typhoons are NOT gentle on full tilt
Apache "SURPRISINGLY" not too bad at all on full tilt and maintain the same cooling if not better than the others even though they spin less :-)

If you don't have a fan controller then get the Apaches as they can be controlled by PWM. Like gropingmantis said if the GTs are left @ 100% fan speed they will be rather audible.

Well i have the 600T fan controller, which isn't awesome, but will definitely prevent the 100% fan speed. Anybody know if it possible to link up more than four fans to the controller on this thing?
