The server is down,, Is this the case for all? Its not just me? It says something like "is this inside the defined playing times?

That says the playtime is for 4 hrs on Sunday, and there is a competition for the most k/d ratio with graphics card up for grabs.

Its come to my attention that this sounds like an MMO a bit like Borderlands, apparently the model for paying for this game is undecided but they don't want to use an existing model, e.g. monthly subs, ggame box.

Good luck, aiming and shooting has been a very frustrating experience for me the past few weeks. Actually I didn't bother with it enough for it to even become frustrating.

Can probably kill more people quicker in a car anyway

It said my system spec was too low too, I'm going to try run the game anyway when the servers are up to see how it plays.

It said my system wasn't up to it either.

I think the thing that failed was my GTX260 so I'm taking that message with a pinch of salt....

yea i find aiming very anoying too, i put this down to the fact im mainly a console gamer, not sure how pc guys are coping with it.

Does the downloader resume. I had 200mb downloaded, restarted and its back to zero now.

I think its storing files in a temp directory ?

What's your ingame name u using? Or should we use a Prefix [OcUK]? We would be a lot of noobs up against the "heavy hitters" with superior cars, guns ect.

6.4gb in 4 hours. Thats pretty fast, Im sure this downloader was saying 950kb per sec which is faster then this dsl can actually go maybe that includes compression

Being held hostage here, fell asleep woke up and dont really want to start from zero again by turning off the machine.
I dread to think how long this would have taken on my old 128k dsl

doesn't it download it all file by file? so you can close and start from where you left off?

I would hope so but it seemed to reset and I didnt bother chancing it. Its not working till sunday now anyhow so no rush

7200meg in 330 mins is 21.8 meg a minute or about 363kbs so not that fast but still probably better then steam often is

It resumes, total download for me was 7gb i closed it and came back to it later and the total was then 5gb.
