APC Back-UPS Pro 1200 noise?

I'm looking at purchasing an APC Back-UPS Pro 1200 (BR1200GI) and am wondering how loud it is while connected to the mains?

Does anyone have one of these? Can you confirm if the fan is even audible while on mains? I'm completely expecting it to be a bit louder when on battery of charging the batteries

The fan shouldn't even turn unless it's running from the batteries.

Watch the recharge times on the cheaper UPS models. The BR1200GI you mention has an eight hour recharge. The nearest equivalent Smart-UPS (SMT1000I) manages it in three hours. To me eight hours is just too long, but it'll depend on how you'll be using it.
