Aperture and Photoshop Element 6

Ok folks,, I take photos in Raw and when i download them to aperture do they stay as raw? As when i come to edit a photo what i do is browse them in aperture and edit them in external editor which is Photoshop Element 6 it gets changed to Tiff file i like them to be CR2 or Raw

What needs altering?

Is tiff same as raw? As i like to export to element in raw not tiff

shame cant export in raw never mind.

Still trying to work out how to use aperture properly yet

dont see a option to export in raw so you saying lightroom you can export raw then?

Also I like to mention.. Is it really worth having Aperture as well as PSE6 As with PSE6 you get Bridge which does viewing and stacking like Aperture does. I do a lot of alteration in PSE6 to be honest. What can aperture do rather than PSE6? What I dont want is files everywhere..

Since your a aperture user... I am quite loving the aperture and how do you batch process all the raw files?

Also what i like to be able to do too is when i browse my pictures in aperture i love to open it in Photoshop to print but only way to do this is to select edit in external editor this then creates another picture into the aperture know what i mean? Someone says printing in photoshop is better than aperture as you cant print border less in aperture is that right?
