Aperture Level - Killing Floor

Updates to Killing Floor have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

One additional map has been prematurely released.
Aperture

Going to go play it now (if I can stay connected for long enough)

It actually looks like a damn good map too from what i saw of it yesterday trying (and failing) to find the potato solo. Might jump back on to get the potato and play it for a bit, not been on KF for a while.

Same here i go through phases, it mostly i get boored with the same weapons and maps. Might have to re-download and try it out.

So what is everyones opinion of this map? I had a quick go soloing it on normal and found it quite difficult at first mostly down to the crafty zed spawning, but I did manage to complete it first time mostly down to a dumb patriarch spawning on top of my pipe bombs lol

I'm quite enjoying the hidden drop points even if they do destroy your health when you drop down them lol

I also had a quick go on LinkTarts server a couple of days ago and definitely found it a lot harder but I think that was mostly down to the people I was playing were treating it like a solo game and not teaming up

edit:
oh btw.... I HATE the brute lol

it's a fun new zed but I just don't know how to treat it, I normally play as a Lvl6 sharpshooter on hard and above servers but find myself completely useless against it unless I can hit it from behind

Give me a shout sometime and I'll join in for a game. Myself, KeyboardCowboy, MajorSickles, flibble and uv have all played quite a bit together so we've got some reasonable team tactics
