Aperture Users???

Hmm ok... Will look into that then.

Also As i have a 17 - 40 L Lens and the kit lens I been thinking of getting a 50mm 1.8 Prime lens but not sure if I should or not. Or should I get a 28 - 70 L lens or 28 - 105 L lens?

But I though

17 - 40 L
17 - 55 Kit
50 Prime
70 - 200 Zoom

What you think. How much better could the 50mm Prime be than the L lens i currently have picture wise

100-400 isn't that great really. For proper wild life shots you ought to look at the 500 F4, or maybe the 600 F4.

However. You've just bought your camera, so do you honestly think spending ~£900 on a 100-400 is a good idea when you're so new to all of this?

Well as I like wildlife and that is what i prob take most pictures of and I cant do it at the moment can i. So if i am practice doing wide it the zoom i need more practice on is it?

The best thing to do is to ignore new lenses for now. You need to learn from your camera, and find out what you actually need. It's pointless spending hundreds on lenses that don't suit what you really want to shoot.

Buy Cheap - Buy Twice. :)

Go for PhotoShop, you can get a wealth of free tutorials from the internet. Your local library will have, or be able to get, many PhotoShop Books for you to loan. You could, as I did, enroll evening classes and obtain a certificate?

I doubt it these things would be possible with Aperture? Why not do a bit of investigation?

I have been using Aperture for 2 days now and now when i connect my cam it want to start aperture up and download pictures I dont want this I want to be able to use Canon Software to download my picture how do i alter this to make the canon software default to open and download when my cam is conected.

.... Or you could try reading the Aperture help files that tell you how to do it... Come on Rookies, please at least try and solve your own problems before asking on here.
