Aperture with MBP

I currently have a 2006 model MBP which is a 2.16ghz C2D with 3gb memory.

i have looked into getting a new MBP and handing this one over to my other half. But which I dont know I dont think I fancy spending high amount of money again.

Which should I go for?

I'm not clear what your question is but I wouldn't want to use aperture on a 13" screen so a 15" makes most sense. No major advantage for aperture in having discrete graphics these days so the cheapest 15" would do, you know better than anyone what your needs are though...
