APG Graphics Card and Problem.

Hi there guys , can anybody recommend me a GFX card APG , basically all its gotta do it run WoW . Recently had a 9800 pro which was great for 3 years but now I think its broken as im getting huge Green lines on the screen.

whats weird tho is that on the bootup screen the ( cracks ) will also appear and when it starts the windows loading screen .

Could this be more than a Graphics Issue ? The mouse also randomly cuts out and the only way too reset it is to replug it back in.

All help appreicated as I do not want to buy another card if you guys think the issue lies else where. Ive tried removing and updating drivers.

Sounds like it is arficating due to overheating/wear

Don't think the mouse would cause a problem like this...

As for a fix I'm unsure, as for a replacement card like a 7600GT would be a good bet.

Do you have access to any spare parts so that you can test if you are unsure? Even a mate with a similar sort of system who is happy to let you dismantle it is a good substitute.

From a brief read-through I think Will_3rd is right though.

It's an old card and these bits of hardware don't last forever. My 9800 Pro is still running but I have had to replace the stock fan as it refused to operate. It sounds like the memory on the card is gash, like will says overheating, wear and tear. Its worth checking though when it is up and running whether the fan is actually spinning or not (could be overheating) - it may just need replacing like mine did.
