Aphacool Laing DDC310 help

Hi All.

I'm currently building my first water cooled rig. I've bought a Alphacool Laing DDC310 complete edition pump but it has no manuel. I want to fit the pump in to a a loop with a motherboard/CPU block and a GPU block. Can i connect the molex to the PSU and leave the blue speed control tine off the motherboard safely to run the pump at max or am i better off connecting it?

The blue wire I think is just for speed monitoring so it doesn't need to be connected to operate the pump.

You don't need to connect it, but it is good to connect to your MB CPU fan connector so in case your pump stops it will show as a faulty cpu cooler.

Definitely a good idea to do this as otherwise the first you'll know about your pump stopping will be when your PC overheats
