Aphantasia Test

19/40

This score suggests that your visual imagery is less vivid than average.

Psssh, my visual imagery is less vivid than average. You should see what I've got stored in the bank ;)

I do apparently, I scored 15. To be honest I never realised people can vividly create images in their head like that... No wonder there are so many people who seem to do **** all at work!

You sure that's not because they're all on here taking online tests ;) :p :D

You scored 25 out of 40

Around 25% or one quarter of participants fall into this band, alongside you. It places you in the lower half of the population for imagery vividness, but your score is not unusually low.

26 out of 40. Rather interesting in a way. The questions regarding people I kind of struggled with, but the questions about natural events like sun rises I could picture completely fine.

I really do get bored of seeing these types of studies, until you can interface with the visual cortex, i honestly don't see how you can seriously test something like this...

Fantastic - 8/40

Approximately 5% of people fall into this, the lowest, score band. Your score suggests that your visual imagery is less rich than usual. You may lack visual imagery, the state scientists have described as aphantasia, particularly if your score is toward the lower end of the band. If you would like to be included in the research at Exeter University you can contact them through this email: [email protected].

urm no cheers

his score suggests that your visual imagery is more vivid than usual. Scores at the upper end of this range are suggestive of ‘hyperphantasia’: exceptionally strong powers of visualisation. About 23% of people score in this range, the highest of our five bands. If you consider your imagery to be exceptionally strong, and would like to be included in future research, you can contact the team at Exeter University through this email: [email protected]

You scored 38 out of 40

30 - Around 40% of the population fall into this band, the most common range of scores for imagery vividness. This suggests that your visual imagery is typical - neither unusually weak nor unusually strong.

13 for me - The only relative I have is sister in law and I have no image of her what so ever.

Can't remember what sun looked like as it hasn't been out for ages and no thunderstorms for god knows how long
