I posted this in the case section but got no reply so I think it's a bit more fitting here.

Since updating to a new i5 system my old PC has been kicked out of its case and I'm looking for a media centre case.

So, has the included PSU got a 6 pin PCIe connector?

PC to go into the case:
ATX mobo (Abit Fatal1ty FP-IN9)
Artic Pro 7
Evga 8800GTS 320MB

Had a look around on the forums and found some pics of it. It fits the GPU and AP7.
Just need to know about the PSU , whether it has a 6 pin PCIe.
If not, I'll be going for a Coolermaster 360 & Corsair Builder 430W unless anyone can recommend a better ATX HTPC case?

So, got it delivered and set up now.

The PSU only has 2 molex, 12V 4 pin, 20+4, 2 x sata, and FDD.
You def need a low profile card for this case too. My 8800GTS fits in but can't get the 6 pin PCIe if there was one on the PSU.

I'm using an Arctic Cooling Alpine 7, I shouldn't think it's much taller.

As for the gfx card the power connector is at the back.

I would recommend against this case if you're looking to keep the PSU. As stated above with only 2 molex you're pretty screwed. One you might be using for DVD drive and the other will be needed for the EPS12V converter (only 4 pin 12V on the PSU).

I can take pictures if you'd like?

Thanks for info and pic's would be great, Im thinking of builing a new rig and putting my old rig in media center case for under TV.

So if the graphics card power connecters were at the top like my 280GTX or somthing else with them there is would be ok? I think i would use my own PSU in it by sounds of it...

I'd get the Coolermaster 360 if I were you then. It's really not a well built case. Lots of sharp edges etc. As the CM is cheaper if you're gonna be using your own PSU I'd def do that.

However, the insides of the case are identical to the 430 so the pics will be relevant anyway. Will get them for you in a minute.

I've no idea if this site uses BB codes but I'll try them anyway. If not, I'll edit them out.

I hope they give you an idea of what the case is like. You'll see the height of it isn't much more than the height of the PCI-e slot height (which is a full height btw, not low profile). You'll be lucky to fit the 6 pin in from the top but def won't fit it from the back.

I've just realised how useless those pictures are, but you can see where the wires come out from the PSU, that touches the GPU regardless of whether it's turned upside down or not.
