Hi , i have the leftovers of a swiftech all in one apogee drive watercool kit...
I have added a twin rad/res combo unit and intend to cool the following
CPU-NB-Gx2 9800 quad sli.... i have connected all tubing to rad and waterblocks etc but nothing has gone into the pc yet as i want to be sure first.

The question- is the setup described a bit overkill for the apogee drive to handle ? and would it be better to start from scratch and buy all separate components for a more efficient loop??? If so then can you advise of the best individual components.... The reasoning behind my original setup idea was to make best use of the components that i already have...

lastly i havent yet but as i intend to add waterblocks to the gpus, what is the likely worth in terms of performance??? When a gpu card comes out that significantly puts this in the shade i will upgrade, is this card here or on the horizon??? In other words, for the time and energy that i will be putting into adding these two gpus to the loop, would it be worth upgrading and maybe putting two gtx 280+'s in sli instead???

thanks

Thanks guys, i have a rampage extreme qx 9650, with the swiftech single rad/res and double rad res also, apogee drive, a triple swiftech radiator..
Cpu currently Oclocked to 4.2 ghz on a coolit freezeone elite but i wanted an effective way of cooling everything. I may go for the 4870 crossfire setup in the future too if it proves to be a significant performance boost. Current case is a cosmos s but had to remove the large side fan to accommodate the elite..
i have the lian li huge case on wheels (forgot part name) Pc39b i think <on order, you know the one where they attached two cases together side by side??? The open plan layout downstairs (home) will allow me to move it to different locations of the house easily...
Just looking at configuring the best possible loop while using some of the leftovers from previous rigs, maybe keep the elite for the cpu while ordering a pump and using the rest of the equipment to cool the nb, gpu etc??
The best pump to order performance wise i guess might not be listed on this site?? nevertheless what would you suggest?
