Hi, after moving my sound card to another slot, Vista/Creative decided to make changes automatically due to this change.

I noticed an APOIM64.EXE requesting access to something. Unsure of what this was, I decided to consult Google. Couldn't find much on the exe or the DLL file. Virus scan (AVG free) doesn't report anything. Only thing that was remotely useful was the below links about the two files:

http://www.prevx.com/filenames/X1194628539415627591-0/APOIM64.EXE.html

http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=APOMngr.DLL&meta=

From those links it says they have no details in the description such as author, etc. When I view my files, it tells me that it is an APO Manager (google returns nothing useful), and copyright of Creative Technologies, and was last modified/created back in June. For all I know it could just be a spoof header.

So to the point, I don't know if these files are malicious or not. Any ideas anyone? If you have an X-Fi, it would be good you could let me know if you have these files. They seem to be found in the "C:\Windows\SysWOW64" directory, and did not come up in the Vista search. Im just not sure if the file is related to Creative sorting itself out in the background, as it was making registry changes itself at the time of discovery.

Much appreciated if someone could help :)
