Ditching my laptop for a desktop as I don't currently need the portability and the power will be fun.

I've come up with this so far, taking advantage of a couple of this week only offers:

Can I do any better for £700? I have a cpu cooler and DVD drive already + an external HD, monitor etc.

On reflection I think I will go for a 160gb drive, I feel like trying a Western Digital for some reason, unless there's a real difference with the Seagate?

That memory has lower timings but also only clocked at 667mhz, so it will easily overclock then?

Sounds good :) Thanks for the advice, I think I will go for that Seagate actually, it has a lot of good reviews and I've used them before. I'm sure the extra space will come in handy too.

So now I'm looking at:

Should handle everything very nicely :)

At that price they'd better be good boards! Outside of my range unfortunately!

Check the web for reviews to compare them if I were you. :)
