Apparant terrorist attack in russia

how do we know the footage shows him deliberately doing it rather than say losing control of the vehicle or having some medical incident behind the wheel etc..?

If anyone thinks Russia is going to be honest about what happened after the last 2-3 years of lies and deception, think again.

To admit that there was a terror attack during a major tournament would be admitting weakness.

He could have been trying to cut past traffic and lost control. Drunk driving is pretty rife over there. You'd think he would just keep going it was a terrorist attack.

But the reaction from Russians compared to Londoners is stark. Everyone is chasing him to give him a right good thrashing, rather than filming it on their phones :p

“The city's mayor said the driver lost control of the car, while Russia's Interfax news agency quoted an unnamed source as saying he had fallen asleep at the wheel.“

“But one witness, who was across the road at the time of the crash, said it did not appear to be accidental.

"I have the feeling that he did it deliberately because he was in the traffic jam with the cars going really slowly," said Viktoria Geranovich, "How could he lose control of the wheel, push the gas and drive into the crowds?”

Have they employed the iraqi information minister?

I don't even get angry at their lies any more. They are now comical to me, as well as they people that try to defend them. I almost think Russian authorities are joking when they are so blatantly dishonest. It's like on games forums where there is a ton of disinformation being spread about how there are no more Russian cheaters than other nations. Sorry, but a much higher proportion of them DO unashamedly cheat. They even use English names and then spew a tirade of Russian insults when you dare call them out or expose them for the cheaters they are. Personally, I think the western world should block their IPs at every gateway / router and VPN providers shouldn't allow anyone from Russia to sign up either. What's the saying? "Russia should shut up and go away." Couldn't agree more.

Yep, ran off 100mph dodging people and cars. There was no need for him to swerve and take the route he did unless it was to run over the people he did.

Not drunk or asleep.

Whens the last time a general Road Traffic Accident from Russia made MSM news headlines in the UK? How many people have actually died from RTAs in Russia in the past year?

Man BBC seems desperate to deride Russia, the other day they they had a correspondent in russia uttering things like a terrorist attack here and more importantly "now" would be the most devastating thing for Russians. Why even mention what Russia DOESN'T WANT during a World Cup staging? Reminds me of the time they had that terrorism promoter on live TV TWICE telling people they never even have to contact ISIS to perform attacks for them, yeah well done you idiot, tell people that they simply don't need to communicate with ISIS any more like that will really help the intelligence agencies.
