I'm moving our TS users from 2003 x86 to 2008 x64 (R1).
I'm using folder redirection so things like application data etc can be carried over to the new profile versions.
I set up group policy to redirect the appdata folder to a share and logged into one of the 2003 servers. The appdata folder on the share is created, data is copied and the event viewer shows the folder has been redirected (looking at environment variables confirms this too).
The main reason for redirecting appdata is to prevent having to reconfigure outlook, but when I log into the new server and launch outlook (both are running 2003 SP2) I get the first run wizard, as if it's not been configured at all.
Guessing it's registry related as that's obviously created afresh..... anyone done this though?
