Apple ADC + HE discount?

Im gonna be ordering my Mac Pro very shortly and just wondered if anyone knows if its possible to combine the HE discount along with the ADC hardware discount?
 
ADC discount is what 20% off right? I highly doubt they'd let you combine it with an HE discount as well... that's almost 35% off IIRC...
 
How do you get ADC discount? and does it still give you 3 years hardware cover like you get with the student discount? (if not the extra 6% might not be worth it).
 
I'd be interested to know what the price of a Mac Pro would be with an ADC account.

If you get more than 14% then I'd consider signing up :)

AFAIK the discount increases, the more you spend. (e.g. you'd get more off a specced Mac Pro than an iMac)

Whats the deal with this? Can you just be a student and get the membership or do you have to be studying a certain field within your study?

Looks interesting although potentially a good few hoops to jump through.

Will look into it although a lot of the documentation for it seems vague and doesn't really get to grips with what it is. Either that or I've been reading the wrong stuff.

Anyone have any idea on the size of the discount rather than just the 20% estimate above?

Yeah, although it's £329 the discount you get (~20%) will balance things out.

IIRC Someone on MacRumors said it doesn't work out greatly cheaper (because of the 329 charge), but it is definately cheaper than normal HE discount.

Oh, and I've photoshopped documents and sent them to Apple to get HE discount before.. I'm not deterred :p
 
Nearly a £300 saving if I wanted my Mac Pro and Apple Cinema Display though - with the ADC.

I assume the 3 year extended warranty (As in HE) isn't applicable with this though. Which would be a shame - then again you would be purchasing as a student...Hmm.
