Apple ADC to DVI converter

is that the right converter to use an Apple 17" studio display on a PC?

The Apple has an ADC converter, and my gfx card has both VGA and DVI.

I dont want tp spend £40/50 and find its the wrong cable.

No, you want DVI -> ADC.

"Apple DVI to ADC Adapter" or the same from another manufacturer.

Is this the cable you need to connect an Xbox 360 too? I have the 20" Cinema Display, I need a female female DVI adapter so I can connect my 360 VGA cable with DVI adapter on the end to the screen! But not sure if it'll work if I do get the adapter I need.

i dont think so, cinema displays have a DVI connector dont they?

the Studio's have an ADC connector, through whcih they draw graphics and power from the mac, so to use it on a PC you need the above converter, which is basically a power brick and a DVI connection.
