Apple airport extreme

Just ordered the new airport extreme as the wifes had the macbook air with ac wifi.

Any 1 else had experience with it?

Not personally, but there's supposed to be minor improvements over the previous version. Slightly better on the speeds and wireless coverage.

I'm looking at getting one pretty soon.

Please let us know what you think of the it once it arrives.

Reviews seem to say it is very good indeed. To be honest due to the design I'd say that it'll be closer to the top in terms of performance (compared to similar 802.11ac competition) than the previous AEBS/TCs have been.

If it is anything like the previous models they'll be solid performers, and absolutely rock solid in terms of reliability.

will let you know how it compares to my current Asus RT-N56U I've got LAN speed test pics on the forum somewhere. Its been shipped so hopefully will arrive tomorrow

well it took a whole 5 mins to setup.

5ghz wasn't enabled by default and firmware update to do straight away.

All phones, ipads, macs are connected and receiving full broadband speeds.

Will run some lans tests later and post pics
