Hey,

Had a quick look round but really struggling to find what i'm looking for so apologies immediately if this is a repost.

Recently moved from my iphone to an android phone after 4 years with apple. Mostly i'm rather happy with it but obviously a couple of annoying issues which is expected and by no means more than just an inconvenience.

First of all, does anyone know a good media player to sync my music to my phone.

Secondly, what would be a good music player for the phone. I am wanting it to support as many music files as possible. I am under the impression that my protected itunes music I will have to go around removing the DRM from. Most likely by using itunes match since I have 2300 songs that need to be available to me.

Cheers in advance guys

You don't really need syncing software, the benefit of Android is it's just drag and drop.

The best music player is Poweramp with the ICS/Jellybean theme. I have no idea about the DRM protected music though, sorry :)

Worth paying for the full version of power amp?

It is, it's a great player with support for loads of file types.

As for syncing, not sure. I personally just drag/drop from the file explorer on my PC. Which phone do you have? I know companies like HTC provide software that's similiar to what iTunes does.

I have the xperia z1. I just have some playlists which I wanted to add to it really and I'm not a massive fan of media go. I am looking at moving away from using itunes but the only feature that I *really* love on it is the organising my music. I drag and drop any new files into itunes and it moves it to my library and organises it into appropriate folders for me. Wondering if there is another music player that does this and can easily sync with my android.
