Was just checking the Higher Education store before and noticed that instead of ending on September 16th 2006 it is now ending on October 7th 2006 :)

Now if them MacBooks can get the Memrom chip, that would be perfect!

Buy a Mac before October 7th, 2006, and save up to £100 on an iPod after postal rebate. And remember, this is on top of your usual education discount.

It could be, as they might adopt the Core 2 Duo lower end in the Macbook and the higher end in the Macbook Pro's...well with any luck that is :p

Either way I'll get one, there so pretty :o

Well i'm planning on jumping on the mac bandwagon because of this offer, I just cannot decide which macbook to go for!

Am I better off having the 2Ghz macbook with 1GB of ram, or the 1.83GHz with 2GB. The super drive doesn't bother me, I have a dvd writter in my pc..

Many reviewed the extra bit of CPU GHz don't make a big difference. Extra RAM however, can help with more programs running simultaneously. (sp?)

Anyway, since you don't need a Superdrive, get the basic and stick in the RAM :)
