Apple Backup Software

Hi

Can anyone recommend some software that would do a mirror image, and then update new files added to the Mac, and then save to a network location. This is just to do both Photos and Music, and needs to be done as soon as the files are saved to the location, not on a schedule.

Any suggestions, been looking but they all seem to need a manual start to the backup.

Will timemachine keep the files so they can be played on a XBMC setup?

You could use rsync to keep a remote directory in sync with a local directory.

Carbon Copy Cloner could do that, schedule it to maintain a backup
