Just a rant really:o

But why do Apple make it such a pain in the ass to do the most simple things!!

Basically I changed my password for account of mine, this required the me having to change app passwords for Apple Mail.

For some reason every time I exited apple mail the connection for that email account would fail so I had to enter the app password again and again when I quit the mail program.

I read that to get it working as it should I should delete the email account and start again, which I did, only now I run into a problem of "this account already exists" a common problem it seems for some.

its taken me near on an hour to sort what should be a simple problem out of changing a password in apple mail, but there seems to always be some **** that does not make it simple:mad:

Does anyone else get stupid problems like this with Apple that turns into a lengthy process?

I spend usually couple of days fighting for password change at work with my Windows, because it takes hours / days / reboots for various places to update the password.

In this case, most likely the best solution would have been to hit cmd-space, type keychain, and update the keychain entry for the email account after changing the password.
