Should it include Phone support too?

I have a Macbook Air with Apple care but when I check the "service coverage" the warranty shows, but the telephone support has "expired".

Is this correct?

Telephone support doesn't last as long as the main technical support as standard. For example, Apple care on a new mac is 3yrs with 1 yr phone support.

EDIT: Showing 90 days on Apple website but i got quoted for 1yr the other day. Maybe an offer to students only. Not sure!!

Applecare if bought is 3 years hardware/3 years phone (in total 1 year complimentary and 2 years extended by Applecare)

If you buy through higher education, you get 3 years hardware and 90 days phone support for free with the option to upgrade to full 3 years phone support.

If you don't buy through higher education or don't buy Applecare you get 1 year hardware and 90 days phone support.

There are lots of other authorised service providers that can help you over the phone though, and they are usually not premium numbers. My former employer were, an our tech support was ace. Not sure how good it is since I left though ^_^
