Got hamster few days ago and been reading online about apple chew sticks for hamsters. Are these just branches or sticks from an apple tree? If so i have an apple tree in the garden that has green apples on it. Can i use those branches?

Yes, they are... but unlike anything a mere mortal consumer could obtain, these are 100% Natural™ all-organic gen-you-wine Apple Tree sticks... which is why a small pack costs £16.99!!

Sensible people just cut some twigs from an apple tree, although you might want to dry them out a touch before giving them over.

Upload a video of chewing hamster plz
Will do, iv got a video of it chewing on the cage which is what prompted me to search online why it was doing that, i sent video to previous owner who said its normal and always does that but good thing i searched online and asked at the pet store who told me its bored or has nothing else to chew on or feeling cramped in the cage.
So bought some toys today and done few things i learnt online. Put some toilet paper in the cage and he has took it into his little hiding houses so he is doing different stuff now.

Always give the little furry ones as much space as you can afford. Also pics of hamster are required.

Pics of what iv been given so far.
Added the carrot chew toys and 2 other chew toys today so when he wakes up he should be in for a treat.

Iv been told that the bedding or wood shavings things need to be piled up much higher for him to dig holes into.
In the pic of the cage he currently in the small grey house bottom right of cage.

Whats good food treat to give him? I suspect previous owner was not that bright or involved and just fed him the food in the packets i think those packets came from petsathome or other big petshop.

Iv just ordered a larger excercise wheel. Iv only seen the hamster use the current one for a few seconds and it seems small for him. I think its an 8 inch wheel and iv ordered a 13 inch one so hopefully he makes more use of it.

Iv just found out this is the cage i have:

Reviews saying its too small for hamster which is probably why he seems to always want to come outside. Not sure what I can do since im limited in space and cash.

Then think of it more as a bedroom for him and have the little tinker out to play as much as you can. They can have loads of fun with cheap/free things. They love tunnels and little hidey holes.

Be careful with spicy hay though (rodents love electric cables)!
