Apple Cinema Display 24"

Hi

I'm looking for a monitor for my mbpr (late 13) to extent my screen real estate. The monitor will mainly be used for text documents As opposed to video editing etc.

I don't want to fork out big money at the moment as it won't be used a lot. So what I want to know is what are the 24 inch cinema displays like compared to a new monitor of the same price, say £250.

Not sure should I have posted in the monitor forum or here but if needed I will move it.

Any advice would be great

I would get a Dell U2415H for £225'ish. I run a U2713H from my MBPr and prefer it to the Apple cinema displays.
