Are you talking about the aluminium one? If so, yes. I've been using it windows 7 and xp for the last few years.
On xp i sometimes had the problem that the monitor didn't turn off when I shut down. That was fixed by downloading WinACD (i think). Haven't had this problem with W7.
Yes it is the aluminium one and thanks for the reply. I know someone selling one with mac for £375 as he is upgrading and I would like it for photo editing.
It's not a terribly brilliant screen keep in mind (and I'm writing this on one right now). It's nice yes, but I wouldn't use mine for any colour critical photo work...

Really? Granted, I don't have much to compare it with but I'm always impressed with how it looks over your usual samsung/dells that all my friends have. I'd say it's a decent mid range monitor.
What mac does it come with? Wouldn't want to spend over £250 for the display.
I've used the new cinema display (24" LED backlit) and it was a very good display. I haven't used any previous models, though. Given the price of that unit and the age of the model I'd be tempted to look elsewhere.
there are, look at the HP and dell line ups the higher end models are basically the same screen technology as apple uses in it's cinema displays for less money and there more up to date

If you are looking for a monitor for that use and have that budget to spend, I strongly suggest you give the HP ZR24W or the more expensive Dell U2410 a look. These are much newer, larger, higher resolution screens and they also come with full warranty. Here is a review of the HP and here is a review of the Dell.
Also, if you don't want to spend as much or don't need such a large monitor - the Dell U2311H and U2211H are great monitors and a bit cheaper.
Yeah I know that :/ Obviously, it's been out of production for some time, and the OP is looking to buy it with a mac included. I was wondering which one to see if he was getting a good deal.
