i have just placed my order for the new MBP 13 inch, and i selected the option to go for the apple consumer loan.

The next screen says, that i have to phone the apple team and confirm my application using the card i am paying with and my order number.

I haven't got time to ring tonight, and was wondering if i had to ring them instantly after i ordered or can i wait until tomorrow morning when i have time?

Why don't you ring and them and ask? :p

Does the order stay in your account or does it disappear if you don't continue with the 'phone' screen? If it stays in your account under 'order status', I imagine it will stay there for an x amount of days and then expire - so you may be able to ring tomorrow.

Someone on here has, think it may have been Concorde Rules but I'm not 100% on that.

Financing is fine if you have the costs under control. A lot of people see it as a big bad thing but it has its benefits too.

Personally I would only go for interest-free financing, as the typical rate of interest added to the alternative type of financing just isn't worth it.

mine comes too about 40 pounds per month for 36 months, and im ordering the new MBP 13 inch the higher specced one with a 500gb HDD, and an apple remote and its come to about 1289 pound

ishould get it in about 15 days which is a long time, but if knownes posted a review of it on here, i'll give it a go :D

I financed my Mac Pro. It worked out at about £62 a month, which isn't an issue for me and this works very well in my situation at the moment.

It's through Barclays and I've had no issues, feels just like my car lease ;)

I purchased my first MacBook through the Apple finance option (36 x £40) I'll have finally paid it off in a couple of months. Although i've had no problems usinge Apple finance I wouldn't do it again. It makes far more sense to get a 0% credit card and pay that off.

I tried to get the 0% financing option last week but was declined because I had not been in my current job for 6 months. They guy on the phone said you needed a near perfect credit history to be accepted for it!

i financed my macbook about a month ago when that 0% option came out, luckily i was successful with my application. my experience was when i called they were extremely helpful but it's gonna take about 15-20 minutes on the phone because they rebuilt my order and gave me a new confirmation code. so when you look at your order page it will seem as though you have two orders but they will cancel the original and just proceed with the order confirmed over the phone. in general though my rep was great very friendly and knowledgeable even sent me emails on the day of purchase with a few helpful links and then the other day to see if I'm enjoying my purchase.

I bought my base white MacBook on finance, purely because it was simpler than splashing out £700 in one go.

Pay £24.88 a month and I'm happy with the extra I end up paying as it is a managable sum!
